VP of Strategic Finance

About the role

This senior leadership position sits at the heart of strategic decision‑making, where finance drives the direction of a fast‑growing organization. Reporting to executive leadership, the VP of Strategic Finance will shape capital allocation, investment prioritization, and long‑term planning.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the strategic finance agenda, ensuring capital is deployed in line with long‑term priorities.
• Build and maintain the company‑wide capital allocation framework for investments, hiring plans, and strategic initiatives.
• Own forecasting, budgeting, and the operating model that serves as the single source of financial truth.
• Develop client‑level and business‑level financial forecasts with clear assumptions and scenario analysis.
• Lead board reporting, fundraising support, and financial storytelling, including modeling and investor materials.
• Partner with cross‑functional leaders to evaluate growth opportunities and operational trade‑offs.
• Oversee FP&A and revenue‑cycle finance while creating scalable processes.
• Recruit, develop, and scale the finance team as the organization expands.

Required profile

• 7‑10+ years in strategic finance, investment banking, private equity, growth equity, or similarly rigorous analytical roles.
• Proven experience leading FP&A, forecasting, budgeting, and financial operating models in high‑growth environments.
• Strong capital allocation and investment evaluation skills with a track record of underwriting business cases.
• Demonstrated ability to build decision frameworks that inform executive and board strategy.
• Leadership experience including hiring and developing finance talent.
