VP of Finance – North America (Dallas)

About the role

This senior finance position leads the North American financial function for a global industrial manufacturing organization. Reporting to executive leadership, the VP of Finance will shape strategy, drive performance, and build a high‑performing finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all financial operations, reporting, and internal controls for North America.
• Partner with senior leaders on strategic decisions, profitability analysis, and growth initiatives.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis processes.
• Direct month‑end, quarterly, and annual close activities while ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
• Supervise cash management, working capital, and financial risk management.
• Lead process improvements, reporting enhancements, and finance team development.
• Coordinate with global finance teams to meet international reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, including leadership roles.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or project‑based environments.
• Proven ability to build processes, improve controls, and develop teams.
• Strong communication skills and ability to partner with executive leadership.
