Visual and People Lead (Floor Lead)

About the role

Everlane is looking for a Visual and People Lead (Floor Lead) in its Tysons retail store. The role leads a team that embodies the Everlane ethos and delivers a best-in-class store experience, balancing team goals with a customer-focused environment. The position is paid $22-$30 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the team so the service model comes to life in-store, and zone, prioritize and delegate tasks by zone according to business needs.
• Set goals for the team, coach and motivate them, give in-the-moment feedback and create a sense of urgency to overcome obstacles.
• Perform hourly reads, update the team on current business goals and results, celebrate successes and share results and anecdotal feedback with store leadership.
• Use feedback and reflection to understand personal strengths and weaknesses and contribute more to the team.
• Work closely with the store leadership team to boost engagement, drive business results and sharpen their business acumen.

Required profile

• 1-2 years of leadership experience.
• A proven track record of hiring, leading and developing store teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and strong organization skills.
• Ability to work closely with the rest of the store leadership team.
• Flexible availability, including nights, weekends and holidays, and must regularly move around all areas of the store and be accessible to customers.
• Physical ability to lift, carry and move at least 40 pounds, and to bend, reach and stretch for product.
• A fan of Everlane, its products and its values.
