Virtual Occupational Health Physical Therapist (Evaluation-Only)

About the role

RightMove Health seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to perform virtual, single-visit occupational health evaluations for employees across diverse job types. The PT will determine work‑relatedness, injury severity, and route each case to the appropriate care pathway while providing clear clinical documentation for employer accommodation teams.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct virtual, single‑visit musculoskeletal evaluations for workers in industrial, warehouse, corporate, and office settings.
• Apply clinical reasoning to assess work‑relatedness, injury acuity, and identify red/yellow flags.
• Determine and initiate the correct next‑step care pathway (home program, virtual PT episode, specialist referral, or workers’ compensation coordination).
• Document functional limitations and provide concise reports to support employer accommodation decisions.
• Coordinate with patients, Care Coordinators, and employer partners to ensure seamless handoff and continuity of care.

Required profile

• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from a CAPTE‑accredited program.
• Active, unrestricted PT license in the state(s) of service; PT Compact licensure preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of clinical experience (5 years preferred) with strong clinical reasoning.
• Comfortable delivering care in a virtual/telehealth model.
• Knowledge of workplace accommodation, duty‑modification, or return‑to‑work documentation.
