Virtual Hospice Business Development Trainer

About the role

Join Amedisys as a Virtual Hospice Business Development Trainer and lead the design and delivery of training programs for our business development teams across the nation. This remote position blends healthcare expertise with instructional design to support growth and quality care.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and deliver virtual training sessions for business development staff and regional teams.
• Create learning solutions that address identified skill gaps and business needs.
• Set goals and metrics to evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve programs.
• Conduct needs assessments for tenured staff and recommend ongoing learning pathways.
• Collaborate with the broader training team to align content with regulatory and company standards.
• Maintain compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory mandates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, education, business or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least three years of experience in homecare, hospice practice, or clinical education.
• Minimum two years of experience in training or coaching roles.
• Preferred: Master’s degree and five years of hospice or home‑health experience.
