Virtual Admissions Coordinator – Substance Use Treatment

About the role

Principles Recovery Center is looking for an experienced Admissions Coordinator to manage inquiries, coordinate intakes, and guide adults seeking substance use disorder and co-occurring mental health treatment through the admissions process. This fully remote position requires compassionate communication and strong follow‑through.

Key responsibilities

• Manage inbound admissions calls, inquiries, and referrals.
• Conduct initial screenings and coordinate intake documentation.
• Educate prospective clients and families on PHP/IOP treatment options.
• Coordinate assessments, admission dates, and intake logistics.
• Track admissions activity, referrals, and client records in CRM/EMR systems.
• Collaborate with clinical and operations teams to support census goals while maintaining HIPAA‑compliant documentation.

Required profile

• Experience in SUD admissions, behavioral health intake, or addiction treatment coordination.
• Knowledge of substance use treatment levels of care (PHP/IOP).
• Strong phone communication, organization, and ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM/EMR systems.
• Experience with KIPU or similar behavioral health EMR platforms.
