Video Field Support Specialist (HT1) – Government

About the role

AT&T is seeking a tech‑savvy Video Field Support Specialist to provide Tier 2/3 on‑site and remote support for a wide range of IT equipment supporting government customers.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for workstations, servers, printers, teleconferencing and video devices, both on‑site and remotely.
• Conduct site surveys, create documentation and diagrams, and prepare installation and test reports.
• Analyze hardware requirements, write specifications, procure equipment and schedule deployments.
• Build custom interconnecting cables, install fiber‑optic/Ethernet cabling, and support network upgrade projects.
• Train end‑users on hardware use and maintenance, and provide day‑to‑day connectivity assistance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; 1‑2 years of relevant IT experience.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• 8570 certification required; Security+ highly preferred.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to lift up to 50 lb.

Required skills

• Installation, repair and troubleshooting of computer hardware and peripherals.
• Windows 7/10 OS installation, software deployment, antivirus and security patching.
• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) proficiency.
• Active Directory security and policy management.
• Remote end‑user support and ticketing system usage.
• Custom cabling, fiber‑optic modem, multiplexer and Ethernet cable installation.
