Vice President of Operations

About the role

The Vice President of Operations will lead Celgard’s global manufacturing strategy, ensuring cost‑effective, high‑quality production across three plants and supporting division engineering and quality functions. Reporting to the President, this senior leader will drive continuous improvement, safety, and operational excellence while collaborating with stakeholders worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute end‑to‑end manufacturing strategies, including footprint optimization and capability building.
• Champion lean implementation, cost‑structure improvement, and operational discipline across all sites.
• Oversee capital budgets, global project management, and engineering projects to support production goals.
• Engage with the China JV to transfer best practices, improve cost structure, and support ramp‑up activities.
• Partner with R&D, supply chain, sales, finance and other functions to align operations with business objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of manufacturing leadership experience, including plant expansions and multi‑site oversight.
• At least 5 years of global operations experience, preferably with multi‑site responsibility.
• Proven track record in cost reduction, quality improvement, and operational excellence.
• Strong financial, strategic planning and change‑management skills.
