Vice President of Operations

About the role

The Vice President of Operations will lead the day‑to‑day functions of a dynamic family office that supports an entrepreneurial principal with multiple operating companies. Reporting to the President and CFO, this senior leader will oversee asset programs—including aviation, maritime, personal services and residential properties—ensuring seamless coordination across all functions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership for daily operations, establishing efficient systems, processes and accountability structures.
• Manage, mentor and develop a diverse team of professionals and asset program managers, fostering a collaborative culture.
• Implement and refine workflow, task‑management and performance‑tracking tools to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Oversee planning, coordination and execution of projects ranging from property improvements to internal process development.
• Serve as the central point of contact for the President, CFO, financial and legal advisors, and external providers.
• Coordinate hiring, onboarding and training of new employees and vendors in partnership with Talent Acquisition and HR.
• Maintain accurate internal reporting, records and documentation, and ensure clear communication across the office and residences.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in operations leadership, preferably within a family office or multi‑asset environment.
• Strong organizational and project‑management capabilities with a hands‑on approach.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to mentor teams and manage high‑pressure situations.
• Demonstrated ability to anticipate needs, resolve issues proactively and adapt priorities.

Required skills
