Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions

About the role

The Vice President of Mergers & Acquisitions will partner closely with the Senior VP of M&A and the executive team to build and execute United Flow Technologies' acquisition pipeline. This senior leader will travel frequently to engage owners, negotiate deals, and support transaction execution across the municipal and industrial water sector.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and reach out to owners of potential acquisition targets that align with strategic goals.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with sellers and their senior management throughout the deal lifecycle.
• Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to shape portfolio strategy.
• Negotiate deal terms, pricing, and structure agreements with prospective sellers.
• Conduct financial analysis, valuation, and due‑diligence to assess value creation and risk.
• Support post‑merger integration to realize expected synergies and cultural alignment.

Required profile

• Excellent executive‑level communication and interpersonal skills.
• Big‑picture perspective on value creation while maintaining attention to detail.
• Proven problem‑solving, negotiation, teamwork, adaptability, and strong work ethic.
• Direct experience with data analysis, valuation, accounting, and corporate law.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field.
