Vice President of Government Sales

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Vice President of Government Sales to lead and accelerate growth across federal, state and local government markets. Reporting to the Vice President & General Manager of Government Markets, you will partner with product, marketing, pricing, operations, strategy and customer success teams to execute a unified go‑to‑market strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Own overall sales performance, revenue attainment and market expansion for government agencies and courts nationwide.
• Lead, develop and inspire a sales organization of 60+ professionals, including regional sales managers and their teams.
• Establish a high‑performance culture focused on urgency, customer value and execution excellence.
• Drive attainment of annual, quarterly and monthly targets while improving predictability of results.
• Coach sales managers and frontline sellers through hands‑on mentoring, performance management and skill development.
• Elevate sales capabilities in discovery, value articulation, competitive positioning and AI‑enabled solutions.

Required profile

• Proven sales leader with experience building and coaching high‑performing teams.
• Track record of revenue growth in the public sector, preferably within legal technology or SaaS.
• Strong understanding of government procurement processes and strategic partnership development.
• Ability to collaborate across product, marketing, pricing, operations and customer success functions.
