Vice President of Finance – Strategic Leadership Role

About the role

AbelCine is seeking an experienced Vice President of Finance to act as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team. This hands‑on leader will drive financial strategy, operations, and performance across our media‑technology business in a fast‑paced, private‑equity‑backed environment.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with executive management and private‑equity sponsors on strategic planning, financial forecasting, and performance improvement.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, long‑range planning and build dynamic financial models for scenario analysis and cash‑flow forecasting.
• Oversee accounting, treasury, tax, audit and compliance functions, ensuring GAAP‑aligned reporting and robust internal controls.
• Manage banking relationships, credit facilities, insurance policies, and the company’s 401(k) plan.
• Develop and maintain scalable systems and processes to support growth and efficiency.
• Handle capital structure, liquidity, equity and mezzanine financing, and support board reporting and investor communications.
• Provide financial support for growth initiatives, M&A activity, and new product or market expansion.

Required profile

• Proven senior finance leadership experience, preferably in a media‑technology or similar fast‑growth environment.
• Deep expertise in financial forecasting, FP&A, capital‑structure management and M&A.
• Data‑driven decision‑maker with strong strategic foresight and operational execution skills.
• Experience working with private‑equity sponsors and managing investor relations.
