Vice President of Finance

About the role

Quindar is seeking a Vice President of Finance to lead its financial function as the company scales. This hands‑on leader will own financial planning, reporting, budgeting, audit readiness, and capital strategy while providing clear insight to the leadership team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the company‑wide financial model, annual operating plan, forecasts and long‑range planning.
• Prepare and present financial analysis, board materials, investor updates and fundraising documentation.
• Own departmental budgeting, variance reporting and partner with functional leaders on financial decisions.
• Lead the annual external audit, oversee outsourced accounting, tax and financial service providers.
• Manage finance for government contracts, ensuring DCAA/FAR compliance and cost allocation.
• Support equity and debt financing, maintain relationships with banks, lenders and investors.
• Build finance processes, systems and controls and grow a high‑performing finance team.

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive finance experience with leadership responsibility in a high‑growth environment.
• Proven track record in FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, audit management and capital planning.
• Experience supporting institutional fundraising, board reporting and debt financing.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
• Experience with defense or complex B2B contracting is strongly preferred.
