Vice President of Finance (CPA Required)

About the role

The Vice President of Finance will act as a strategic partner to the CFO and executive team of a fast‑growing fashion and apparel company. This senior leader will own the month‑end close, drive financial planning, and translate complex data into actionable insights that support rapid expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Lead preparation of board‑level and executive reporting, including financial statements, KPI dashboards, and variance analysis.
• Own the end‑to‑end month‑end close process, ensuring accuracy of P&L, balance sheet, and cash‑flow statements.
• Maintain GAAP compliance and oversee all general‑ledger activities, reconciliations, and inventory accounting.
• Manage tax compliance (sales, property, etc.) and payroll accuracy.
• Direct the annual budgeting process, rolling forecasts, and long‑range (3‑5 year) strategic financial plans.
• Develop cash‑flow forecasts, liquidity management, and working‑capital optimization.
• Build financial models for new initiatives such as retail expansion, product launches, and market entry.
• Partner with merchandising and operations on inventory planning and margin optimization.
• Mentor and develop the accounting and finance team, building scalable processes and systems.

Required profile

• CPA certification is mandatory.
• Extensive experience in financial reporting, accounting, and FP&A within a high‑growth environment.
• Proven ability to act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership.
• Strong track record of managing month‑end close, budgeting, forecasting, and cash‑flow management.
