Vice President of Communications

About the role

Graham Buildings U.S. is seeking a Vice President of Communications to lead the division’s communications and marketing function. Reporting to the EVP, Business Acquisition, this senior leader will shape strategy, enhance market presence, and support major pursuits across multiple regions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute integrated communications and marketing strategies for internal and external audiences across the Bay Area, Sacramento, Seattle, Denver, and Southern California.
• Serve as trusted advisor to the EVP on market positioning, brand growth, and change‑management communications.
• Partner with Business Acquisition to drive client engagement and support major project pursuits.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to strengthen employer branding and college recruitment messaging.
• Develop thought‑leadership programs that elevate division executives’ industry authority.
• Build and maintain relationships with media, industry groups, and external stakeholders to enhance reputation.
• Coordinate with Graham’s enterprise Communications and Corporate Services leaders to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience leading communications or marketing functions, preferably in construction, infrastructure, or related sectors.
• Demonstrated ability to act as a strategic partner to senior leadership and influence business outcomes.
• Strong track record of developing and executing multi‑regional communication strategies.
• Excellent executive presence with experience representing the organization publicly.
