Editor-in-Chief, SEO & AEO Content

About the role

Jerry.ai is building an AI‑native content engine that powers insurance and finance answers across search and generative AI platforms. As Editor-in-Chief, SEO & AEO Content you will own the editorial quality, strategy and output that turn millions of visitors into customers.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute Jerry’s content strategy across the website and external platforms, setting traffic and conversion targets.
• Design, implement and continuously improve the brief‑to‑publish workflow (LLM prompts, AI draft, human edit, QA gates, publishing).
• Lead a small team consisting of one direct report, AI agents and a bench of freelancers.
• Build SEO and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) clusters that rank on Google and earn citations from ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and other AI answer engines.
• Maintain a zero‑tolerance accuracy standard for YMYL finance and insurance content, ensuring every factual claim is sourced and verified.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading editorial teams and content strategy in high‑growth, data‑driven environments.
• Deep understanding of SEO, AEO and how AI answer engines surface content.
• Track record of delivering content that drives customer conversion, not just page views.
• Strong judgment for fact‑checking and quality assurance in YMYL domains.
