Vice President, Investor Relations & Capital Formation

About the role

We are seeking a Vice President to lead Investor Relations and Capital Formation for a leading private equity firm with over $25 billion in assets. The role will drive fundraising initiatives, nurture LP relationships, and support the firm’s growth strategy across multiple office locations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead capital formation for new funds, co‑investment vehicles, and separate accounts.
• Build and expand relationships with existing and prospective LPs, including institutional investors, family offices, sovereign wealth funds, and high‑net‑worth individuals.
• Collaborate with senior leadership on asset‑growth strategies and market positioning.
• Prepare and deliver investor presentations, pitch materials, quarterly updates, and due‑diligence responses.
• Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and investor sentiment to identify new fundraising opportunities.
• Coordinate with investment, legal, compliance, and finance teams to ensure alignment on commitments and regulatory requirements.
• Plan and execute investor meetings, roadshows, conferences, and annual general meetings.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in capital formation, investor relations, or private‑equity fundraising, preferably at a growth‑equity or middle‑market firm managing $10 billion+ AUM.
• Proven track record of raising institutional capital and managing sophisticated LP relationships.
• Strong understanding of private‑equity fund structures, regulatory environments, and capital‑markets dynamics.
