Vice President, Financial Planning & Analysis

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Vice President of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the US region and North America. The role partners with business units and senior leadership to align financial performance with strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and target setting across business units and regions.
• Develop quarterly operating reviews, CEO decks, and communicate financial results to leadership.
• Advise leadership on external macro‑economic factors affecting performance and identify revenue opportunities.
• Drive process‑improvement initiatives for budgeting, forecasting, and financial systems.
• Manage a finance team, set goals, conduct performance appraisals, and coach employee development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting; MBA preferred.
• Extensive experience in financial modeling, predictive analytics, and risk/opportunity assessment.
• Proven track record building internal and external business partnerships.
• Experience leading a diverse, multi‑functional finance organization.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, index, sumif).
• Oracle financial systems.
• Hyperion planning and reporting tools.
• Tableau for data visualization.

What we offer

• Competitive base salary ranging from $217,000 to $359,000 USD.
• Potential annual bonus or commissions.
