Manager, Network Economics & Value Optimization

About the role

The Network Economics & Value Optimization (NEVO) team shapes Mastercard's network economics by driving governance, strategic alignment, and value optimization across pricing and interchange initiatives worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement network economics and value optimization strategies, building tools for pricing and interchange decisions.
• Manage and prioritize a portfolio of transformational initiatives from ideation through regional syndication and execution.
• Partner with regional, product, finance, legal, compliance, and other stakeholders to ensure consistent, transparent, and regulatory‑ready economics decisions.
• Develop models and frameworks for pricing and interchange benchmarking against competitors and alternative payment methods.

Required profile

• Experience applying financial and business management principles and financial modeling.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and detail‑oriented execution skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication abilities to influence without direct authority.
• Self‑driven, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

What we offer

• Competitive base salary ranging from $137,000 to $218,000 USD.
