Vice President CIB LATAM Structuring

About the role

Santander is seeking a Vice President to lead LATAM‑only structuring solutions for on‑shore financial institutions, sovereign clients and offshore funds. The role sits at the intersection of sales, trading and coverage, delivering customized financing, hedging and risk‑management structures across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Originate, structure and execute financing, derivatives, rates and FX solutions for banks, asset managers, insurers and sovereign entities in Latin America.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Trading and Coverage teams to design tailored structures that meet client hedging and funding objectives.
• Manage multiple workstreams, ensuring accurate execution in a fast‑paced environment.
• Communicate product mechanics, pricing and risk considerations clearly to senior client contacts and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in structuring or market solutions for financial institutions, sovereign clients or LATAM‑focused funds.
• Proven track record across Funding, Derivatives, Rates and FX.
• Fluency in Spanish (Portuguese a plus) and strong commercial judgment.
• High integrity, disciplined risk mindset and meticulous attention to detail.
