About the role

Momentum Worldwide is seeking a dynamic Vice President Account Director of Business Leadership to lead a top‑tier retail account. The role involves steering multi‑faceted programs—including consumer and B2B events, digital campaigns, and shopper marketing—while building strong client and internal relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Drive growth and profitability of the retail account, meeting revenue and margin targets.
• Provide category and channel expertise, guiding internal teams to align with brand strategy.
• Oversee strategy development, property negotiation, marketing activation, and ROI methodology.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to deliver projects on time, on brief, and with high quality.
• Develop budgets, staffing plans, and new‑business presentations.
• Foster client relationships, troubleshoot conflicts, and expand business across agency disciplines.
• Mentor and develop direct reports, promoting a collaborative and performance‑driven culture.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing.
• 12+ years of agency account management experience.
• Retail, shopper, and commerce experience highly valued.
• Willingness to travel and ability to solve problems in live event environments.
• Strategic thinker with strong communication skills and a solution‑oriented mindset.
