Veterinary Technician - Overnight Emergency/ICU

About the role

Coral Springs Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join its Overnight Emergency & Critical Care team. You will work on the front lines of veterinary medicine, providing life‑saving care to critically ill patients during overnight shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Stabilize critical patients and perform advanced monitoring.
• Support intensive‑care treatment plans, including ventilator management and post‑operative recovery.
• Conduct emergency triage and place advanced lines such as central venous catheters, arterial lines, and CVPs.
• Collaborate with emergency clinicians, specialists, and multiple service departments.
• Educate interns and peers on ECC protocols and best practices.

Required profile

• 2+ years veterinary technician experience in an ICU setting.
• Detail‑oriented, quick‑thinking with strong clinical and communication skills.
• Experience with intensive monitoring, emergency triage, ventilator support, and advanced line placement.
• Ability to adapt to evolving patient needs and work collaboratively across specialties.
