Vendor Managed Inventory Representative

About the role

The Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Representative will work on‑site at customer facilities in Tyler, TX, ensuring that Field’s fastener inventory is consistently stocked and available. This full‑time, hourly position supports customers by monitoring stock levels, placing orders, and delivering products while upholding Field’s commitment to service excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers, delivering products directly to their facilities.
• Monitor inventory levels, generate replenishment orders, and track deliveries to maintain optimal stock.
• Identify and pursue additional sales opportunities within customer sites.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve quality or delivery issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and safely handle cartons up to 50 lb.

Required profile

• Friendly, organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of working independently.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and results‑driven mindset.
• Willingness to commute to the assigned site and work occasional overtime.
