Vendor Business Development – Equipment Finance (Southeast)

About the role

Altius Search Group is recruiting a Vendor Business Development professional for a leading equipment finance lessor. The position is remote and focuses on building and managing vendor financing programs across the Southeast United States.

Key responsibilities

• Originate and grow small‑ to mid‑ticket vendor financing programs with equipment manufacturers, distributors, dealers, and resellers.
• Structure and present financing solutions, negotiate lease terms and pricing, and manage accounts from application through funding.
• Market equipment finance services through outbound calls and marketing materials to regional equipment resellers.
• Facilitate credit information gathering, expedite transactions, and monitor invoice payments and service levels.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in equipment financing or related sales.
• Strong understanding of the equipment financing marketplace and its benefits for lessees and vendors.
• Proven executive‑level sales, negotiation, and closing skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding financial targets.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple relationships, and achieve set objectives.

Required skills

• Experience with vendor leasing program development and account management.
• Negotiation and pricing expertise for lease contracts.
