Urologist – Advanced Surgical Practice

About the role

Lehigh Valley Health Network is seeking a board‑eligible or board‑certified Urologist to join its well‑established Urology service line. The role combines clinic time with operating room responsibilities in a community hospital environment supported by a large network.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general, laparoscopic, and robotic urologic procedures, including use of the da Vinci SP® single‑port system.
• Spend 2‑3 days per week in the outpatient clinic and 1‑2 days per week in the hospital OR, with clinical support from a dedicated Urology Physician Assistant.
• Participate in a split‑even call schedule among 13 urologists and contribute to the Institute for Surgical Excellence.

Required profile

• Board Eligible or Board Certified by the American Board of Urology.
• Current or ability to obtain a Pennsylvania medical license.
• Commitment to high‑quality patient care and teamwork within a Magnet® hospital.

Required skills

• Proficiency in robotic surgery, including da Vinci SP® platform.
• Experience with laparoscopic urologic techniques.
• Familiarity with advanced imaging technologies such as IRIS scanning and Mazor X Stealth™ guidance.
