Unified Communications Administrator (Tier 2, Night Shift)

About the role

CACI is looking for a Unified Communications and Collaboration (UC&C) Operations Technician to provide maintenance and advanced support for customers globally. The role sits in the Enterprise Communications Services 3 (ECS3) program, which covers design, transition, operations and continual service improvement of Unified Communication services, including video teleconferencing, voice over IP, instant messaging, presence and audio/video streaming, with some PBX support. It is a 10-hour night shift (22:00-08:00, Wednesday to Saturday) with four days on and three days off, and up to 10% local travel.

Key responsibilities

• Support managed DCE/DTE and scheduled or active video teleconferences, using tools such as CUCM, CUBE/VCS, MCU, Cisco Meeting Server, TMS, Vbrick Rev and IMC.
• Provide technical knowledge of VoIP/PBX systems, Cisco Unified Communications Manager, IM systems (Cisco Jabber, Webex, Microsoft Teams) and audio/video streaming.
• Provide VTC service and support, including scheduling, monitoring, administrative support and technical assistance to customers.
• Troubleshoot UC&C issues such as endpoint problems, bandwidth saturation, profiles and misconfigurations, and perform root cause analysis.
• Use ticketing software to manage and prioritize workloads, and resolve break/fix requests.
• Perform IOS and software upgrades, patching, and create or report notifications per SOP.
• Train lower-level staff, guide engineering on projects, and help write training materials, guides and SOPs.

Required profile

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of experience with unified communications.
• IAT Level II certification.

Required skills

• Knowledge of H.323, E.164 and SIP dialing protocols.
• Understanding of network topology and networked hardware and software tools.
• Desired: Network+, ITIL Foundations or Agile Foundations, and CCNP Collaboration certifications.
