Underwriting Internship – Summer 2027 in Boston

About the role

Zurich is offering a Summer 2027 Underwriting Internship in Boston. Interns will work alongside experienced underwriters, gaining hands‑on exposure to underwriting fundamentals, financial reporting, and client interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Support business unit financial reporting and analysis, preparing operational reports using underwriting and business intelligence tools.
• Assist with pipeline management, underwriting operations, and review loss summaries for account analysis.
• Participate in client, broker, and stakeholder meetings to gain exposure to industry relationships.

Required profile

• Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Business or a related field.
• Enrolled for at least two years of college coursework (rising junior or senior) and will be enrolled in Fall 2027.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S. indefinitely.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
