Unarmed Patrol Driver – Transportation Facility

About the role

Allied Universal, a security and facility services company, is hiring a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Driver in Seattle, WA. The officer monitors and patrols a transportation-focused government location, deterring security incidents through a visible presence while conducting routine vehicle patrols, supporting access control, responding to incidents and providing customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees and contractors by carrying out security procedures, site policies and emergency response activities at a transportation facility.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, service disruptions and medical events, notifying the right personnel or emergency services.
• Carry out regular and random unarmed patrols of stations, platforms, entrances, parking areas, offices and perimeters to spot and report unusual activity, hazards or maintenance issues.
• Monitor access points and support access-control procedures for restricted areas.
• Write clear, accurate reports of incidents and observations and share them with Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.

Required profile

• Valid driver's license in line with Allied Universal driver policy (required for driving positions only).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years old for unarmed roles (21+ for armed roles).
• Preferred: access control and badge experience, and comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Subject to a background investigation and a drug screen to the extent permitted by law; licensing may be required before employment.
