UA Associate – Direct Markets

About the role

Zurich North America is seeking a UA Associate to join the Direct Markets team. You will support experienced underwriters by reviewing and analyzing risk exposures, helping to assess and quote insurance policies.

Key responsibilities

• Review, evaluate, and summarize risk exposures, loss history, and financial condition to aid underwriting decisions.
• Follow underwriter instructions on policy rating, pricing, construction, coverages, exclusions, and mandatory forms to quote and issue policies.
• Provide end‑to‑end account servicing for new business, renewals, and endorsements of basic to moderately complex products.
• Respond to written, verbal, and telephone inquiries under close supervision and support broker/agent/customer interactions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or high school diploma with 2+ years relevant experience) and knowledge of data collection and analysis.
• Microsoft Office experience.
