TSCM Engineer

About the role

Analytic Solutions Group is hiring a full-time TSCM Engineer in Bethesda. The engineer develops, implements and maintains Technical Surveillance Countermeasures (TSCM) programs and capabilities, conducts vulnerability assessments and inspections, and researches and develops policy and instruction at the agency and ICD level.

Key responsibilities

• Perform physical and technical assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigations
• Carry out TSCM inspections and TEMPEST surveys
• Conduct acoustic testing to determine ICD 705 waiver requirements
• Research and develop policy and instruction at the agency and ICD level

Required profile

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph; U.S. citizenship required; federal employment suitability and E-Verify eligibility required
• Bachelor's degree with 12-15 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 10-13 years; additional experience may substitute for degree requirements
• TSCM certification with experience in TEMPEST assessments
• Preferred: advanced degree, 5+ years in or alongside the Intelligence Community, and experience mentoring staff, training new team members, and supporting business development such as proposal writing and client relationships

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of radio frequencies, direction-finding procedures, wireless communications and general TSCM procedures
• General knowledge of counterintelligence investigations, insider threat operations, physical security, cybersecurity, digital forensics and IT infrastructure
• Preferred: proficiency in radio frequency direction-finding missions and leadership of cross-functional teams
