Truck Dispatcher – US Logistics

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Truck Dispatcher to join our logistics team and manage daily operations for semi‑truck drivers across the United States. The ideal candidate learns quickly, thrives under pressure, and possesses strong sales and communication abilities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and dispatch semi‑truck drivers to ensure efficient load planning.
• Negotiate rates with brokers and shippers to secure profitable loads.
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers, carriers, and clients.
• Monitor driver locations, schedules, and delivery progress.
• Resolve issues promptly to avoid delays.
• Maintain accurate records and update dispatching systems.
• Provide consistent customer service and clear communication.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a truck dispatcher, preferably in the US market.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Strong sales, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with load boards (e.g., DAT, Truckstop) is a plus.
• Knowledge of FMCSA regulations is an advantage.
• Strong computer proficiency and experience with dispatching software.
