About the role
The Kansas Judicial Branch is seeking a Trial Court Clerk II to support the 9th Judicial District in McPherson County. In this position you will ensure the smooth flow of case documentation and provide courteous assistance to judges, attorneys and the public.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, docket and process legal documents using the court’s computer system.
- Maintain accurate case records and certify documents as required.
- Answer telephone inquiries and provide information to the public.
- Assist judges and attorneys with routine administrative tasks.
- Perform other duties assigned by the Clerk of the District Court.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least one year of clerical experience (or 30 college semester hours in lieu of experience).
- Ability to perform accurate computer data entry and operate standard office equipment.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
