About the role
The Kansas Judicial Branch is seeking a full‑time Trial Court Clerk II to support the 22nd Judicial District in Doniphan County. This entry‑level position provides essential clerical support to judges, attorneys, and the public within a fast‑paced court environment.
Key responsibilities
- File and record pleadings, issue summonses, notices, and subpoenas.
- Enter data, set hearings, maintain the court calendar, and manage court documents through scanning, imaging, and indexing.
- Assist with receipts and disbursement of money, certify documents, issue marriage licenses, and support jury management.
- Provide general assistance to judges, attorneys, co‑workers, and the public.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least six months of clerical experience (or 30 semester hours of related education).
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions and remain calm under pressure.
