About the role
The Kansas Judicial Branch is seeking a Trial Court Clerk II to support the 18th Judicial District in Wichita. This permanent, onsite position offers an hourly wage of $18.57 and provides an opportunity to work within the state court system.
Key responsibilities
- Manage specific areas of the court process and perform major clerical functions.
- Provide advice and assistance to the public and court staff, typically with minimal supervision.
- Act as a lead worker within a unit, overseeing routine tasks and ensuring accuracy.
- Maintain court records, schedule hearings, and handle correspondence.
Required profile
- High school graduation.
- At least one year of clerical experience, or 30 semester hours of related coursework as a substitute.
- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight.
Required skills
- Proficiency in using personal computers and standard software applications.
