Tri-State Region Professional Services Veterinarian – Companion Animal

About the role

This field‑based position supports the Tri‑State Region (NY, NJ, CT, RI) as a Professional Services Veterinarian, acting as a coach, leader and advisor to internal and external customers while promoting the company’s animal health portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver technical lectures on product lines to key customers, strategic accounts and veterinary organizations.
• Partner with the Regional Sales Manager to develop and execute business strategies that exceed regional priorities.
• Engage with key opinion leaders in clinical and university settings to discuss portfolio and new opportunities.
• Represent the company at veterinary schools, associations and conferences.
• Evaluate technical training needs of sales representatives and coach them in technical selling.

Required profile

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree.
• Minimum 10 years combined experience: at least 5 years in companion animal clinical practice and 5 years in the animal health industry or equivalent leadership/management.
• Proven ability to translate complex issues into clear content for diverse audiences.
• Excellent presentation, oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to influence without direct authority and build strong internal and external networks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience using industry software such as Salesforce, Veeva and Power BI.
