Traveling Autonomous Equipment Specialist

About the role

Rinvio is seeking a Traveling Autonomous Equipment Specialist to support the deployment and operation of robotic and autonomous equipment on construction and infrastructure sites across the United States. This full‑time, travel‑heavy position requires weekly trips to project locations and close collaboration with site teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, and adjust autonomous equipment, sensors, and electronics in active construction environments.
• Work with operators, site leadership, and technical teams to safely integrate equipment into daily operations.
• Document technical issues, field observations, equipment performance, and improvement opportunities.
• Assist with testing, calibration, repairs, component installation, and preventative maintenance.
• Support scheduled field operations that may include nights, long shifts, or changing project conditions.

Required profile

• Background in construction, heavy equipment, field service, machinery, robotics, or industrial equipment.
• 5+ years of hands‑on experience with equipment operation, repair, maintenance, or troubleshooting.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, comfort with tools, electronics, sensors, and field diagnostics.
• Ability to communicate clearly with operators, construction teams, and technical support.
• Willingness to travel weekly and work in outdoor/construction jobsite conditions.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to lift up to 60 lb.

• Salary range $115,000‑$125,000 per year, based on experience.
