About the role
Cross Country Nurses is seeking a Registered Nurse specialized in medical‑surgical care for a 13‑week travel assignment in Palestine, Texas. You will work night shifts on a 12‑hour schedule, providing direct bedside care to patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery.
Key responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions and document findings accurately.
- Administer medications, change dressings, and monitor vital signs.
- Educate patients and families on care plans, recovery strategies, and health promotion.
- Maintain thorough patient records and ensure compliance with nursing standards.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high‑quality care.
Required profile
- Active RN license in good standing.
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care experience in medical‑surgical nursing.
- Availability to start on 06/15/2026 for a 13‑week assignment.
- Willingness to work 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts.
