Travel Construction Superintendent (Amazon Projects)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Travel Construction Superintendent to lead field operations on Amazon distribution and fulfillment center projects across the United States. The role involves managing fast‑paced schedules, large subcontractor teams, and complex logistics in active industrial environments.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all on‑site construction activities from mobilization through project completion.
• Manage daily field operations for Amazon distribution centers and other industrial projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, and field personnel to maintain schedule and quality standards.
• Lead safety efforts and enforce OSHA compliance on every job site.
• Conduct daily superintendent meetings, subcontractor coordination meetings, and safety briefings.
• Review construction documents, schedules, RFIs, and submittals to ensure work follows plans and specifications.
• Monitor project progress, identify schedule conflicts, and resolve field issues proactively.
• Coordinate inspections, punch lists, commissioning, and final turnover activities.
• Maintain project documentation, including daily reports, safety logs, and progress updates.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, owners, and clients throughout the construction process.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a superintendent on large‑scale commercial or industrial construction projects.
• Previous experience on Amazon fulfillment centers, distribution centers, warehouses, or large logistics facilities.
• Strong knowledge of ground‑up construction, tilt‑wall systems, structural steel, MEP coordination, and site development.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain aggressive project schedules.
• Willingness to travel full‑time to project sites nationwide.
