Transportation Driver (Bilingual English & Haitian Creole)

About the role

Join the North Shore Haitian Adult Day Health Center as a Transportation Driver, providing safe and reliable rides for seniors participating in our adult day programs. This full‑time, Monday‑to‑Friday position offers a supportive environment with no evenings, weekends, or on‑call shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Transport participants between their homes, the day center, community programs, and medical appointments.
• Assist passengers with boarding, securing, and exiting the vehicle, using proper body mechanics.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, perform daily safety checks, and report any maintenance needs.
• Support day‑program staff with participant care, meals, activities, and basic daily‑living assistance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; minimum age 18.
• At least two years of driving experience.
• Valid driver’s license, vehicle registration, and insurance.
• Pass background check and drug screening.
• Reliable, responsible, and compassionate with strong communication skills.
