About the role
We are looking for a Transport Planner based in Felixstowe to join our logistics team on a full‑time, permanent basis. You will be responsible for matching customer orders with the right resources, maintaining schedules and ensuring smooth day‑to‑day transport operations.
Key responsibilities
- Match customer orders and requirements to available vehicles and drivers.
- Prepare and maintain schedules, enter orders and keep internal computer systems up‑to‑date.
- Communicate regularly with drivers, internal departments and subcontractors.
- Manage vehicle maintenance and repair activities.
- Work to deadlines independently without supervision.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in logistics or transport planning.
- Proven ability to build customer relationships and communicate effectively.
- Strong planning and prioritisation skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and meet deadlines.
Required skills
- Competent use of Microsoft Excel.
