Transient Athletics Coach (Fixed‑Term Seasonal)

About the role

This is a seasonal, fixed‑term position to coach and oversee athletic programs at the University Laboratory School. The role reports to the Athletic Director and works closely with the Head Coach to ensure compliance with LHSAA regulations and promote student development.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership, organization, communication and direction for assigned sports programs.
• Instruct athletes in fundamental skills, safety, strategy and physical training.
• Supervise and evaluate assistant and CECP coaches, delegating duties as needed.
• Manage distribution, monitoring, collection and storage of uniforms and equipment.
• Establish team rules for Athletic Director approval and monitor student academic performance.
• Maintain sportsmanship, sideline conduct and complete all required paperwork on time.
• Collaborate with the Head Coach to uphold program standards and suggest improvements.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work directly with minors; fingerprinting and National Sex Offender Registry check required.
• Commitment to uphold LHSAA rules and school policies.
