Transcript Analyst I

About the role

The Office of Admissions at Texas A&M University is seeking a Transcript Analyst I to evaluate and enter student academic records, determine admission eligibility, and support undergraduate processing.

Key responsibilities

• Examine, evaluate, and enter transcripts and other academic credentials.
• Process additional admissions documentation such as proof of residency and immunizations.
• Prepare admission-related documents and assist with articulation guides for Texas colleges.
• Respond to general office emails, walk‑in traffic, and telephone inquiries regarding admissions.

Required profile

• Associate degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Two years of related experience (or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Ability to work extended hours during peak processing season.
• Strong written communication, analytical, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with spreadsheet applications.
• Experience using database applications.
