Transaction Support Analyst – M&A

About the role

Benchmark International seeks a highly analytical Transaction Support Analyst to support sell‑side M&A engagements. You will collect, analyze, and summarize sensitive client data, preparing businesses for potential sale and assisting throughout the transaction lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain client relationships, ensuring buyer and seller expectations are met.
• Gather comprehensive business information and prepare marketing materials such as confidential information memorandums and teasers.
• Analyze financial statements, historical performance, and future projections.
• Organize and maintain virtual data rooms (VDR) and keep CRM records up to date.
• Provide consultative guidance on accounting, financial, and valuation matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or advanced) in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
• 1‑3 years of experience in investment banking, transaction advisory, corporate finance, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, mathematical, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client assignments and meet rigorous deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Salesforce (preferred).
• Ability to review and interpret financial statements (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow).
