Training Specialist – Learning & Development

About the role

The Training Specialist joins the technology team within the Education Department of WK Medical Center. This role blends instructional design with technology to deliver high‑impact learning experiences for staff across the health system.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the technical team to communicate issues, risks, escalations, timelines, and delays, ensuring a seamless learner experience.
• Assess learner needs and capabilities, adapting training methods to match diverse skill levels.
• Design, develop, coordinate, and evaluate full training cycles—from needs analysis to post‑training evaluation.
• Deliver classroom instruction to individuals and groups, tailoring content for varied audiences.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of effective learning and development methodologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum three years of experience in education, training, or learning‑and‑development roles.
• Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work respectfully with staff across multiple disciplines and departments.
• Proven track record of completing full training cycles.
