About the role
The Training Program Manager leads the end‑to‑end training initiatives for the Optimus data collection team. This role oversees a group of Training Coordinators and designs, implements, and continuously improves programs that ensure high‑quality data collection for autonomous robotics.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, develop, and manage a team of Data Collection Training Coordinators across global operations.
- Own the training program strategy, roadmap, and execution, including design of materials, workshops, and certification programs specific to robotics data collection.
- Manage new‑hire onboarding and ongoing skill development focused on robotics hardware, sensors, software tools, data quality standards, and safety protocols.
- Partner with engineers, project managers, and field operations to keep training content aligned with technical roadmaps and system requirements.
- Establish metrics and KPIs to measure training effectiveness, data quality impact, and operational efficiency, and address identified gaps.
- Maintain centralized training documentation, attendance records, certifications, and competency tracking.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and targeted resources to coordinators and frontline teams to drive continuous improvement.
Required profile
- Proven experience in technical program management, training program development, or data collection operations, with people‑leadership experience preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of robotics systems, sensors, data collection methodologies, hardware handling, and related software tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of teaching complex technical concepts.
- Track record of managing complex, cross‑functional programs and leading small‑to‑medium teams in a fast‑growth environment.
- Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to maintain accurate records under tight timelines.
- Analytical mindset with data‑driven decision‑making and proactive problem‑solving.
