Training Coordinator - Pilot Training

About the role

SkyWest is hiring a Training Coordinator in its St. George, Utah headquarters. You will schedule and support the pilot new-hire and routine training process in a fast-paced environment that calls for critical thinking and multitasking. On-the-job training is provided, so no prior experience is needed.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and track pilot and instructor training across classroom and training-device sessions
• Build training schedules and track progress, then reschedule classes, students or sessions as needed
• Verify instructor qualifications for scheduled sessions
• Arrange travel and lodging when necessary
• Schedule, coordinate and pre-assign other training-related assignments
• Maintain close communication with instructors, pilot records, flight operations managers and supervisors
• Keep up to date with department, company and FAA policies and maintain reports in Excel and other programs

Required profile

• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
• Strong data entry and computer skills
• Exceptional written and verbal customer service skills
• Flexibility to work overtime and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail
• Self-starter who works well in a team and adapts to changing processes
• Full-time, four 10-hour shifts; onsite in St. George, Utah; not a DOT safety-sensitive position
