Training Coordinator – Healthcare & Emergency Medical Education

About the role

Advent Services is seeking a Training Coordinator to lead healthcare and emergency medical education programs at Wright‑Patterson Air Force Base. The role supports the USAF School of Aerospace Medicine (USAFSAM) and the 711th Human Performance Wing, ensuring that personnel receive up‑to‑date clinical and trauma training.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver instructor‑led and virtual training for nursing, trauma care, and first‑responder protocols.
• Develop, update, and maintain training materials in line with current best practices and Air Force standards.
• Schedule courses, manage resources, and ensure compliance with USAFSAM and Department of the Air Force policies.
• Analyze performance metrics, student outcomes, and program effectiveness, producing reports and recommendations for leadership.
• Manage continuing education credits and support the Comprehensive Medical Readiness Program.
• Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to identify curriculum needs and resource requirements.

Required profile

• Current, unrestricted RN license (or nationally registered Paramedic).
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing with at least three years of professional experience.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) certifications.
• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication abilities.
• Experience in an educational or medical‑training environment.
• Knowledge of emergency‑room patient management, trauma care, and Air Force training standards.
• Ability to obtain a signed NDA before starting.
