Neurologist – Aeromedical Consultant (Full-Time)

About the role

Advent Services is seeking a board‑certified Neurologist to provide aeromedical neurological expertise for USAF aircrew and special‑duty operators at Wright‑Patterson AFB. The role involves clinical consultations, chart reviews, teaching, and research in support of the Aeromedical Consultation Service.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational aeromedical neurologic chart reviews and clinical consultations for disqualified aircrew requiring waivers.
• Serve as an independent specialist within the Neuropsychiatry Branch, participating in clinical conferences and collaborating with other aeromedical specialists.
• Deliver lectures and PowerPoint presentations on case reviews and research findings to flight surgeons, aerospace physiologists, and international trainees.
• Design and coordinate scientific and statistical investigations related to neurological diagnoses and present results at national and international conferences.

Required profile

• Fully licensed, board‑certified Neurologist (American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology) with at least 10 years of experience.
• Permanent, unrestricted state medical license meeting credentialing requirements of Wright‑Patterson AFB Medical Group, TJC, MAJCOM HQ, and HQ USAF.
• Minimum one year of aeromedical neurology or equivalent occupational health experience, preferably with USAF personnel.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint for instructional presentations.
• Ability to perform statistical analysis for research investigations.
