Trainer – Employee Development & Compliance

About the role

The Trainer will design, deliver, and manage employee training programs across the agency, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting staff development. This role involves coordinating sessions, maintaining training records, and acting as a resource for both employees and the community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and present training initiatives on skill, policy, and compliance topics.
• Schedule and conduct training sessions at multiple agency locations as needed.
• Assess agency-wide development needs and recommend new training programs.
• Review, update, and acquire training materials with HR Director approval.
• Administer, score, and log qualification and assessment tests; arrange retraining when necessary.
• Maintain a database of employee training records and provide user training.
• Support Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement activities, including internal audits.
• Mentor other instructors and coordinate off‑site seminars or conferences.
• Prepare training rooms, audiovisual equipment, and training aids.
• Maintain required certifications (e.g., CPR, SCIP) and serve on agency committees.

• Project management experience, including planning, coordination, and timely delivery.
• Technical aptitude to assess personal strengths and address gaps.
