About the role
R+L Carriers is seeking a Trailer Mechanic for its Arlington, TN Service Center. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a fleet of trailers, ensuring compliance with FMCSA and other regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Perform safety inspections and prepare required documentation for FMCSA and other regulatory bodies.
- Diagnose issues, repair or replace defective parts, and conduct trailer preventive maintenance (PM) tasks.
- Test equipment to verify proper performance and compliance with manufacturer specifications.
Required profile
- Experience performing safety inspections and preparing regulatory documents.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and lift at least 50 lbs.
- Dependable, with own tools and willingness to work in varying climate conditions.
